Art Interactive is a fictional app that will connect users who love the arts and give them a fully immersive artistic experience. Art Interactive [AI] is a revolutionary platform designed to democratize the art experience, making it more accessible and inclusive for artists, curators, and enthusiasts. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, Art Interactive [AI] bridges the gap between the traditional art world and the digital age, offering a space where creativity knows no bounds.

By providing a platform where artists and curators can showcase their work to a broader audience, [AI] aims to promote inclusivity and diversity in the art world. Learning Objective
Project 1 focused on designing a mobile app that would meet the specific needs of a hypothetical business or organization using pre-generated prompts.
Learner Outcome
After finishing Project 1, I gained skills in conducting user interviews, creating paper and digital wireframes, using Figma to produce low and high-fidelity prototypes, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and data derived from previous user interactions.

Empathize with users
Through conducting interviews and developing empathy maps, I gained insights into the users' needs for which I am designing. My primary user group consists of up-and-coming artists looking for increased exposure. The research highlighted the challenges faced by emerging artists, particularly students, such as scheduling conflicts with art shows and escalating gallery expenses. Furthermore, the broader art audience was interested in a more interactive digital art consumption experience and a desire to engage with inspiring artists and fellow art enthusiasts.

Rasheed is a talented and ambitious artist who needs an outstanding virtual platform to exhibit his artwork, establish connections with other artists, and stand out as a local talent in the art community so they can become featured regularly in galleries.
Persona: Jo'Anne
Jo'Anne is a psychologist and community leader who needs a cost-effective, accessible, and immersive art experience for everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Competitive Audit
The competitive audit thoroughly analyzed benchmark companies and related services that could indirectly impact Art Interactive's market revenue. The audit gained insight into our competitors' features and helped create a comprehensive app that meets all the needs of the general user.
While our competitors brought value to the market, we identified some areas of opportunity:
1. Focus on what's important: creating/sharing art and building relationships while the program handles administrative tasks, saving time and ensuring security.
2. Simple and intuitive navigation controls for seamless movement throughout the gallery, creating an immersive user experience.
3. Personalized audio tours to guide viewers through exhibitions and provide deeper insights into the creative processes, adding a storytelling element to enhance the viewer's connection to the art.
After completing the digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The main user flow I connected was from logging in as a user or a guest to choosing an exhibition and then embarking on a virtual tour. The prototype was then used in a usability study.
The high-fidelity prototype elevates the user interface, making it engaging and interactive and ensuring a delightful user experience.
